The River has a passion to see people use their gifts and talents for the Lord. The ministries listed on this page are just a few of the opportunities to join in and exercise your gifts as well as receive a blessing for the communities they represent. If you have a "holy discontent" that won't be satisfed until you do something about it for God's Kingdom, make sure you share it with one of our Ministry Leaders or Elders. We'll do our best to help you fulfill the desire to serve and reach out to a world hungry for the good news of Jesus love.

CORE, A Ministry for Marriage
Matt & Jamie Chavez, along with River leadership, lead the CORE Marriage Ministry.
It is intended to assist couples with practical Biblical principles, keeping God at the "CORE" of their marriage.
The teaching is designed to equip husbands and wives with the necessary tools and hope for an exciting and vibrant Christ-centered marriage. Pastoral teaching, with an emphasis on marriage, takes place weekly followed immediately by additional time spent in a small community environment where couples discuss and share practical ways on how to apply the truth of God’s Word in their own married lives.
Each table of couples is a real family, exemplifying the real church at work. Joys are shared, needs are met, challenges are faced, and no one is ever left feeling alone.
Core meets Wednesday evenings at 7 pm in the Chapel, 155 W 8th St., Corona, CA 92882
Child care is provided on site for children 6 months to 10 years old.

Global and Community Outreach
There are plenty of needs in our own backyard and our ministries to the homeless and teens are a starting point to meet them. But, we are also well aware that we represent the richest nation in resources and that the U.S. church has a responsibility to reach beyond our shores to help the God’s kingdom grow and flourish. We don’t believe we have the answers for all their needs but we do believe we can help those who have been called as missionaries to come along side them with our resources—both people and finances. We also know that there are people will be called out of The River to become missionaries. We want to help them get started on their journey. If you’re interested in being used globally Email the Church office for additional information.
Future Mission Trips: India
Donna Alcazar and her team have been reaching out to the homeless in the Inland Empire area for four years. We are blessed to be able to come along side their hearts and hands to help them increase their effectiveness. They meet weekly at various parks where the homeless gather and provide food, fellowship, direction and a message of hope. Frequent events offer chances for people to get hairstyling, manicures, etc. For more information Email Donna at the Church office.
